ACES Server is logically separated into Server Roles that work together to perform the operations necessary to support users and process reports. A single physical server can assume several roles but it is typically recommended that the roles be separated onto unique physical boxes to maximize availability and fail-over. The following diagram represents the minimum and recommended ACES Server deployments.
ACES Web Front End Server
